Crazy things I've done: Whitewater rafting on the Colorado River (I fell out of the raft), ziplining, reenactment (gal and guy roles). I've also worked at an archeology dig. It wasn't as epic as Indiana Jones, but it was pretty amazing.
I enjoy hanging out with friends and welcoming visiting family to Chez Trin's, reading, writing, art, movies, occasional television, music, travel, my crites, and much more.

A lot of people are confused about how squash-and-stretch works in animation. It’s very simple! They are just exaggerated frames in-between the “alpha frames” that makes very subtle enhancements to the animation, thus creating the beautiful flowing movement in the animated gif we see above. This technique was perfected by Glenjamin Keen Disney
yep, it’s back.
"I ship Emma with happiness."
I hear this phrase a lot and I myself say I do this, but then I wondered who really makes Emma happy? Is it just my shipper googles that see Emma more happy with Hook and more closed up around Neal?
So I did an analysis and gathered shots from every single scene - no exceptions - of where Emma looks at either Hook or Neal in the face (98% of these images have eye contact). There were scenes that Emma and Hook or Neal were together that I didn’t include, because Emma never honestly looked at either of them.
My conclusion: Emma is not ALWAYS happy around Hook and she’s still guarded, but her expression is more likely to be “inquisitive” as opposed to around Neal where I would call her look “suspicious.” No shipper googles are required to see that Emma has yet to be actually happy around Neal.
I invite you to take a look for yourself. What do you see?
Edit: I purposely did not include the flashback of Emma and Neal as that was over 11 years ago and doesn’t change how she is now. She can’t just magically “go back” to being 17 and innocent. There’s no doubt, however, that she was more open and happy in that flashback than just about any moment in current day (not that she is never happy in present day, but she is certainly more reserved).
